We enjoy working with NDIS community and takes pride in delivering expert food and nutritional advice to support people living with disability in improving their health and wellbeing.
About Our NDIS Services
- Dietetic assessments typically takes 1-1.5 hours and takes place over one session. For very complex cases, 2 hours of assessment may be required, and this may involve multiple sessions.
- Intervention sessions can be offered digitally (ie. telehealth) or face to face in a place that is convenient to the participant (ie. their home, supported disability accommodation).
- Dietitian can prescribe and facilitate the acquisition of oral nutrition support products (ie. nutritionally dense drinks/products).
- Dietitians will work with the participant and their caregivers to develop strategies that will assist them to make changes to their diet that will enhance function (communication, social interaction, learning, mobility, self-care and/or self-management).
- May include the support with meal planning, grocery shopping, label reading and meal preparation.
- May include the provision of specific or flexible meal plans to be used in the context of independent or supported living environments.

- Are overweight/obese (or experiencing faster than expected weight gain, in children).
- Are malnourished/underweight/need to build strength (or are not achieving expected growth, in children).
- Have a chronic poor appetite.
- Are on medications impacting their appetite, weight and general health.
- Suffer from constipation or diarrhoea.
- Have other gastrointestinal problems (ie. reduced motility, IBS/IBD).
- Experience sensory or textural difficulties with eating.
- Have a restricted diet/limited dietary variety (ie. Due to picky eating/fussy eating).
- Have a disordered eating.
- Would benefit from support in reducing nutrition-related restrictive practices (ie. Fridge/pantry locking).
- Require assistance in managing their diabetes.
- Have nutrient deficiencies.
- Require assistance in navigating food allergies and intolerances.

- Want to better understand food labels.
- Have a desire to improve their diet and/or general health.
